  Mattel’s recent release of the highly anticipated Barbie film has created a massive buzz among social media and the music industry. Doing our society a service in coining the term Kenough for my insecure boys and simultaneously inventing feminism? Thank you Margot Robbie!

Throughout the film, we see Barbie and Ken sporting a new outfit in almost every shot. However, among their various ensembles, it was their cowboy costumes that truly stole the spotlight.

  After Spider-Man became gained an audience beyond the comicbook nerd scene in 2001 (Post of the Sam Raimi film, Spider-Man), Party City has never been the same since. You literally cannot go wrong with this costume, it’s impossible. Every year there will be someone, or someones, who will pull up the function in a Spider-Man bodysuit. Especially after the release of the sequel, Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse (2023) – you will in fact find a group of Spider-Men on November 1st, 3AM, loitering at your local Burger King.

Movie in 2023, the hype around the Mario characters has been fortified.  This duos costume is perfect for friends wanting to keep it to the classics; the universally known overalls, white gloves, initial “M” and “L” lettered, colored hat. Chucky, from the cult classic film Child’s Play (1998), made his unforgettable mark on the horror movie scene, starring as an unlikely yet iconic murderous antagonist. Comparably, Annabelle, introduced in similarly iconic film, The Conjuring (2013) before receiving her own standalone, Annabelle (2017). This film was notable for its swift entrance into the horror genre, Annabelle quickly established her presence. Both of these characters, each iconic in their own right, are portrayed as menacing dolls on-screen. You know the drill: two dolls—one girl, one boy— the rest is history. Chances are you’ll have a Annabelle and Chucky couple making out on your insta timeline this Halloween. Can’t wait.

This girl duo is The Girl Duo™ of all time. Velma Dinkly and Daphne Blake first hopped onto the silverscreen in 2002, featured in the first ever Scooby-Doo live action film.
